The city’s streets transform into a giant race track, while a mountain town not so far away continues its 500-year bull-running tradition.

🚄 The government has awarded a €283 million contract to complete the final stretch of the Loja Bypass, closing the last gap in the high-speed AVE rail line to Granada. Construction on this 7.7-km section will begin by the end of 2025 and is expected to finish by 2028–2029. More info

☀️ UNESCO advisors have warned that a planned solar plant near the Alhambra poses a “high risk” to Granada’s world-heritage landscape, potentially harming views and historic olive groves. The project has sparked calls for stricter environmental oversight. More info
