Hi there, we're Nikki and Dave.
Originally from England, we moved to Granada on a whim in 2018 and have never been able to leave. We’ve travelled extensively around Asia, South America and Europe... Nowhere compares to Granada.
We love this city. We chose it as the place to build our life, raise our family, and put down roots. We have two young daughters (true Granaínas), and this city truly feels like home.
Why We Created Granada Grapevine
Granada is bursting with live music, culture, sports, talks, exhibitions, and community events - but so much of it is spread across posters, social media, WhatsApp groups, and word of mouth.
We kept noticing the same thing: amazing things were happening, but people (us included!) weren't finding out about them in time.
Granada Grapevine was created to bring all of that together in one place.
What We Do
Granada Grapevine is a cultural agenda for the city, bringing together what's happening across Granada - clearly, simply, and in one place.
We share events from:
- Live music venues
- Cultural spaces and galleries
- Sports and wellness activities
- Talks, meet-ups, and community events
- Municipal and public activities
Our Goal
Our mission is simple: to help people discover more of Granada.
Whether you've lived here for years, just arrived, or you're visiting for a short time, we want you to:
- realise there's more to the city than the Alhambra and the Cathedral
- support local culture and businesses
- discover local artists, musicians and craftspeople
- never say "I didn't know that was on!"
The Wednesday Grapevine
Every Wednesday, we send out the Granada Grapevine Newsletter - a curated weekly agenda of what's happening that week. So you can spend less time searching, and more time enjoying the city!
It's designed to be:
- easy to read
- useful
- and quick to scan
- funny (we do try)
Granada Grapevine is currently published in English, making it especially helpful for the international community and visitors, while staying deeply rooted in Granada's local life.
