Analytics (Umami)

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool to understand how visitors use our website. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.

We collect:

  • Referring website
  • Approximate location (country/region)

All analytics data is anonymous and stored on servers in the EU.

Session Storage and Attribution Tracking

When you visit our website from a link with tracking parameters (e.g. from social media or our newsletter), we store these parameters in your browser's session storage to understand how visitors find us.

This data:

  • Is stored locally in your browser, not on our servers
  • Is automatically deleted when you close your browser tab
  • Is shared with our newsletter provider (beehiiv) if you subscribe, to help us understand which channels bring subscribers

You can decline this tracking via the consent banner shown when you first visit our site. If you decline, no session data is stored and no attribution data is shared with beehiiv.
