Angelo Nestore headlines a new session of the monthly poetry reading series 'Sabado en Armas' at the Centro Federico Garcia Lorca. Nestore (Lecce, 1986) is a non-binary Italian-Spanish artist based in Malaga since 2007, exploring poetic territory where writing meets music and performance. Co-director of poetry festival Irreconciliables since 2017, founder of poetry publisher Letraversal in 2020. Recent publications include 'Deseo de ser arbol' (V Premio Espasa, 2022), 'Hagase mi voluntad' (XX Premio Emilio Prados, 2020), 'Actos impuros' (XXXII Premio Hiperion, 2017). In 2024 edited 'Antologia de poesia queer' (Espasa), the first such compilation in Spain. First novel 'Leche cruda' (Reservoir, 2025). Presented by Paula Melchor.
