Colectivo da Silva burst onto the music scene with Vacaciones (Subterfuge, 2019), ushering in a new decade in Spanish music. Their second album, Casa Vargas (Subterfuge, 2021), has surpassed five million streams on Spotify alone, and the band has toured venues and festivals across Spain. Now the Granada septet releases EL SOL, an album designed for live performance - full of energy and hugely enjoyable to play. The songs are the result of a creative process that began in the band members' homes and rehearsal space, moved through the studio, and culminated in a concept as powerful as EL SOL. It is a deeply personal record, not only because the band produced it themselves, but also because of the nature of the creative process and their intention to bring the fruits of this work to the stage in the most explosive way possible.
