Translated from the organiser's original listing
Winner of the 2025 Honorary Award from the Andalusian Academy of Performing Arts, acclaimed Malaga-born choreographer and dancer Fernando Hurtado returns to Teatro Alhambra with his latest creation. El Hilo del Olvido (The Thread of Forgetting) unfolds as a danced meditation on slipping memory, the weight of forgetting and the shadows cast by Alzheimer's disease. Without shying away from the painful edges and dramatic silences the illness imposes, the work finds its primary language in the body. Through movement, it reveals contained emotions, invisible dialogues, eloquent silences, the fracture of incomprehension and rage. Choreography by Inma Montalvo, Ana Moreno and Fernando Hurtado. Performed by Inma Montalvo, Ana Moreno and Fernando Hurtado. General admission 8 euros.
