Description
Translated from the organiser's original listing
Encuentros del Mardoloh is a series of open discussions that blend philosophy, politics and personal experience. Now in its second season, the series picks up from a collective workshop held during the II Festival Mediopan in May 2025 at Casa de Porras, and draws on the spirit of Spain's 15M movement - open, non-hierarchical and grounded in lived experience. This session, titled Sobre el Futuro (On the Future), asks how we can imagine and invent a liveable future in the face of ecological crisis and increasingly violent political denial. Guest speaker Jordi Carmona joins the conversation, which moves beyond complaint and into collective reflection - drawing on thinkers like Ursula K. Le Guin and filmmaker Lucrecia Martel. The format is not a conventional seminar or activist meeting. It is an open space for taking the floor, thinking together and exploring the relationship between life and politics from fresh angles. Free entry. RSVP to mardolohnosda@gmail.com. Sala de los Espejos, Casa de Porras, 6pm to 8pm.
