Howe Gelb has spent over three decades fusing erosion rock, crunchy western, blues, punk irony, lo-fi hi-fi, pseudo jazz, gospel-style choirs and Andalusian gypsy flamenco. The frontman of Giant Sand boasts a catalogue of more than 60 albums, has produced records for John Doe and K.T. Tunstall, and helped launch the careers of M. Ward, Grandaddy and Calexico. He recently co-wrote the screenplay for the film Quantum Cowboys, which won Best Original Music at the Annecy Animation Festival 2023. His latest release, Howard Alan at the Lowery Organ (2024), is available on vinyl and digital platforms. Door entry €7.
