The IV Certamen Coral Ciudad de Granada brings together five choirs from across Spain for a celebration of the human voice at the Auditorio Manuel de Falla. Coro Arsis from Oviedo, Coral Jove del Conservatori de Sant Cugat from Barcelona, Coro Entre Olivos from Seville, Pequeñas Voces de la Alhambra from Granada and Voces para la Convivencia from Madrid each perform a 20-minute programme including a specially commissioned piece for this edition. An international jury evaluates the performances, but the event is first and foremost a cultural encounter celebrating choral music as a bridge between cities, generations and traditions.
