Sport and good vibes return to Lanjaron on 28 February for Andalusia Day. The Andalucia Run Fest is a fun run with a difference - participants are encouraged to wear Andalusian-themed fancy dress and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Organised by Lanjaron Town Council with the collaboration of Granada Provincial Council, this inaugural race forms part of the official Andalusia Day celebrations. It is aimed at runners, sportspeople and the general public who want to take part in a fun, controlled sporting activity suited to all physical abilities. The event combines sport and family, with something for all ages. The urban course ranges from approximately 200m to 1,500m depending on category. Junior categories (aguilucho, pre-benjamin, benjamin, alevin and infantil) set off from 11:00 at Plaza del Ayuntamiento. The cadet-youth and senior race starts at 12:00, running from Plaza del Ayuntamiento to the Sol roundabout and back. Sign up at cruzandolameta.es. Pre-registration required.
