Description
Madrid guitarist Lucas De Mulder released his debut album Feel The Spirit in 2023 on the Color Red label in Denver, produced by Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds). The album was well received and quickly established him in the instrumental funk and acid jazz scene. His influences include Grant Green, Boogaloo Joe Jones, Ernest Ranglin and Pat Martino. New Land is his second album as bandleader, recorded with bassist Diego Portugal and drummer Joe Sturges, presenting a more minimalist vision blending funk, soul and jazz with pop, folk and ambient. A varied sonic journey in an intimate, intense and energetic live experience.
