The Temporary Exhibition Hall of the Centro Cultural CajaGranada presents 'Movements in the Plane: Ornaments and Space as Process', displaying works resulting from the Collaborative Artistic Research and Creation Workshop led by artist Isabel Flores as part of the Festival of Contemporary Art of the Faculty of Fine Arts - FACBA 26. The exhibition is conceived as a collective exercise and a space for experimentation, starting from a pre-existing textile installation on which Fine Arts students worked from 23 to 27 February. The project develops an in-situ mural intervention in direct dialogue with the artwork and the exhibition space, proposing a collective process where the final result is the fruit of collaboration between the artist and participating students. The workshop, also held at the Centro Cultural CajaGranada, is part of Line 3 of the FACBA 26 programme, dedicated to research and contemporary artistic creation in collaboration with renowned visual artists. It offers an immersive experience in the artist's working processes, understanding the production of an exhibition as a continuous process integrating the study of space, conceptualisation, design, execution, installation and lighting.
